Description Often we stand at choices, decisions and changes that must be made. What many times holds us back is the thought of the consequences that follows.
Sometimes I wish I could take the step, the one step needed to continue, without hesitating and think too much.

A step I wish I more often could take faster.

Shot the other day with a magnificent sunset. Intense and vivid, one of those great nights to remember.

I love the way that this photo has some of every colour without appearing to be rainbow.
It's well balanced in terms of colour, too, in that warm and cool are balanced out.
Your framing is also excellent; You have made good use of the "Rule of Thirds", and it has paid off wonderfully.

I also appreciate the comments; I find them very meaningful. they are far more insightful than the simple "..." that I have seen many people post in my time.

The reason I write this as a comment, and not a critique, is because I prefer a free membership.

I tend to not think so much about the rule of thirds when I take the shot since most of the time you can't keep the rule without loosing the composition. BUT, since I'm aware of it I think that I do think of it without thinking of it hehe.

You should try membership, it's worth it all the way!

Wanting to take that step faster is understandable but each step we take can't be backed out of. Sometimes it's a good thing to pause and see where we are before we try to move forward, whatever might be ahead.
The steps look like they might have been part of a house at one point. Are they part of the trail or is this the remains of a building?
This is such a beautiful shot though. You've managed to capture just how vast the sky is and the intensity of the colours makes this almost unreal. A lovely, rich image.

Nice reading as always, a treat for the mind .

THe steps here I'm not sure about, I think they've been to a house a long time agoe. Where the shot is taken it's a lot of steppings like these just sitting around. Or it could be that they're built for making it easier to get up on the stones. The whole area is filled with small heights to climb.
