It's impressive sometimes what just the basic growth have in strength. Even the most tiny flower can break through asfalt like a hot knife through butter on a warm summer day.This I found alone, middle of nowhere. This I had to go dirty to capture, the leaves were muddy and wet plus the remains of the tree were just a couple of inches. This forced me to lay flat down my stomach and press my head down the ground so I could look through the viewfinder... dirty but well worth the shot!
Nothing beats close encounters with moder nature!

Beautiful shot. Laying on the ground is why I keep looking at an angled viewfinder, but I always think it's money I can put into more lenses.

Don't get the angled viewfinder, that'll take away the prestige in the shot when crawling on the ground

Yeah, unfortunately I'm disabled. So... I do what I can, but cartwheels and backflips have been out since pretty much my teens. I'm still young at heart, don't get me wrong. (And I don't normally mention the disability, the conversation just kind of led there.)

If you got a wheelchair then you can do all sorta cool tricks instead of my "flippin'" in the woods hehe.
