This is for =SinisterEternity who was one of the poor people who didn't recieve their gift from their ESSer (and I was the volunteer who got her
)First piece of art for 2011!!
And look, it's traditional!!! 
Forgive any yucky colouring, it's been over a year since I did any traditional art but I felt more inspired to do traditional as opposed to digital. I also have been a little short of time as my temporary job is now a permanent one (
). Also, it gave me a chance to really try out my scanner, and I've got to say though I was dubious it's actually pretty faithful to the original. 
Also, I tried for a more realistic style of drawing because why not?
But the blue made my head hurt. 
So, =SinisterEternity I hope you like it, Ghost was such great fun to draw (even his wings
) and I hope you had a wonderful christmas. I'm incredibly sorry he has no legs, I drew his head, neck and wings too big and ran out of page.

I can't believe it's taken me nearly a month to comment on this.... FAIL!!! 
It's so good to see you doing some traditional art again - not that I don't adore you digital stuff but you know... The muscle structure is really good thanks to some excellent shading. Beautiful anatomy, especially around the head. I like the sparse lines around the mane and tail, it makes the hair really flow. AND THOSE WINGS! They are brilliant. I love the curve in them, it gives them some lovely dimension.
All in all, FABULOUS!

No worries he has no legs, I like the effect it gives seeing some grass here.

I'm so very glad you like it, as soon as I saw him I knew he was the one I absolutely had to draw, I don't think I've ever coloured a blue horse before.
