Requested byContrary to how a lot of people in the PPG fandom portray them as these misunderstood heroes, they just are evil. I mean, they tried to kill the PPG countless times. How does that make them misunderstood?

The Rowdyruffs to me are basically the Sephiroths of the PPG fandom. Unsympathetic, irredeemable 'cute' villians (like how Sephiroth is the typical 'pretty boy' villian)
through and through that fangirls only love for shipping purposes. And I find a MAJORITY of their fans obnoxious and hypocritical. They Bash Jared Shapiro (I despise him too, annoying lil self insert with little to no personality) but constantly go on and on about how 'cute' these rather one-dimensional villians are (and especially in PPGZ, when they are shown to be disgusting (literally) brats who were CLONED FROM THE GIRLS).
The one good thing I can say about them however is that they were one of the few villains besides Him And Abra Cadaver that gave the girls a hard time (think Bane breaking Batman's back).

I wholeheartedly agree with this. I never saw the RRB as "misunderstood". If anything, I thought they were kind of gross.

Brick and Butch are evil but not Boomer. He was trying to kill Bubbles in the first episode but that was because he had no personality. In the second episode when Bubbles threw an electric ball at him he didn't bat it back to her, he batted it into the building. And when Bubbles was trying to hit him he didn't try to hit back. But when they were bigger he did hit her some times but that's because if he didn't then his brothers would probably tell him off or something. He did laugh when Bubbles had a slug in her dress but that wasn't being evil it was just something a boy would do. In Bubble Boy he didn't even try to hurt the PPG, he just wanted to eat the sweets since he was probably scared. He did say Bubbles looks dumb but again that's not being evil. In Custody Battle he only agreed to Brick at the end because he would probably get beaten up by his brothers. He's also showed lots of hints that he has a nicer side like in The Boys Are Back In Town he wanted to play with a fly and he looked upset when he was letting Bubbles have a slug in her dress. In Bubble Boy he didn't try to hurt the PPG. So no Boomer isn't really evil since he only copies his brothers to be cool or because they are the only people he has.

Overall,2003 Leonardo is perfect,and by perfect i mean a good,compassionate guy with flaws who take his role as a leader seriously because understands it's not just about him,it's about protecting his family and loved ones,he suffers through a lot of emotional distress throughout the series,but the experience clearly made him stronger.
