Remember the Mpreg Abe miniseries?The one where "The B.P.R.D reanimated a female Ichthyo Sapien found encased in ice somewhere in Hudson Bay" was the legitimate excuse to see Abe getting knocked up the seahorse way?
Yeah. That one.
Well, the 'female of his species' part of the equation wouldn't stop developing itself in my head, and wormed it's way onto paper.
Top-Left: As seen encased in ice when brought into the BPRD.
Top-Right: Fullbody (well, not) concept sketch of Odessa. Illustrating the difference between her head markings and Abe's.
Observe the lack of mammary glands ('boobies', for you guys out there
) and the almost boyish figure. Thought if the newborn Ichthyo Sapiens don't need to be lactated, it wouldn't make sense for her to have boobs. And before you ask, she DOES have genitals... I just didn't feel like drawing them in. Bottom-Left: Height chart!
