This image was found here: pixabay.com/en/tree-lake-refle… Copyright Bessi on Pixabay.com (Freestock image site, image doesn't require attribution but its good to be in the habit.) So the credit goes to them for the idea, I just used it as practice since the image is free use. Thank you Bess.

Obviously I was still testing paper out here and reading tutorials. This is a new medium for me. So the paper is still warping here, but good practice non the less.

Thank you for the feedback and the kind words! I wonder if the photographer I borrowed the study from has tried stuff like this too, since Rule of third impacts photography like crazy. I may go back and do some redo's of old art. I'm working on a couple now actually.

Looking fine, for a more natural looking tree leaves, try a flicking splatter method, or use a hard bristle brush and dab in some leaves.

Haven't heard of that yet. I'm still rather beginner. I'll look it up. I need to get me some of that masking fluid so I don't have to be as careful.

It's good to leave a bit of space for highlights, but yeah white masking fluid might be handy.

Yeah I try to leave a bit with the flowers to show the white, but beyond that haven't played much with it. When I leave white spaces I get scanner wash out with sounding color really bad. Even with tiff scanning at 600 dpi
