Description Being part-Native, I am often drawn to Native designs and mythology and I like to reflect that in some of the work that I do.

I am also inspired by one of my favorite fantasy artists, James Christensen, and like some of his work, I enjoy creating these modes of impossible transportation.

I did a lot of research on the Tlingit and Inuit art and clothing while I was composing this piece. This is originally 15" x 21", painted in oils (my other favorite medium).

This is amazing; I love anything to do with Alaska or Inuit folklore. I'm planning to use some elements from both for a graphic novel I'm working on. It's cool that you painted this with oil- I can't even paint a straight line with oil paints. Your research really paid off; the various use of colors and intricate detail show that you're pretty dedicated to your work- nice job

This is beautiful! I love the composition, all the great characters packed into the sled. Your research shows in the quality of the artwork on the drums and sled. And the background is as lovely as the characters. Excellent job on the northern lights. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
