Holy cow, I have IMPROVED with photoshop xDI am seriously shocked with myself!
I know I'm not the greatest at photoshop but comparing to what I usually do,
I can say that I've improved :3
Any case, one of my favorite characters from FEA is Lucina
and I noticed that as much as I talked and played the game,
I never drew any fan-art.

I like the concept you had for this, its very dramatic and from my limited knowledge of the game it really goes well with it. The things that really stand out is the fire in the back and her flowing hair and her sad expression, it adds intense emotion to this piece. The colours are also good, especially the ones you chose for shading her clothes.
Some flaws I see in this is facial and bodily anatomy. The eyes arent quite placed properly, theyre too low and close to the nose leaving the face to look a little weird. The ear is also too low, its supposed to be on the same level as the eye and the chin looks very sharp. This could be fixed however by adding more thickness to the lineart making it pop out more and add more seriousness to her face. The arms look great to me, the hands however could be worked on (I recommend referencing stock photos). The body looks great all together, no flaws except for the legs. The legs dont curve correctly around the calves for the right leg. Aside from anatomy, the fire and the shading for the sword could be improved on as well.

so here it goes...Anatomy is gud...just some things here n there like her legs look kind of awkward and also it seems she is not comfortable in that pose. You can say..it's not in flow, (i guess?) But i do luv her hairs and face...and the expression too! Shading is quite gud too! And u can improve more! The sword looks a little different too because of the sword upper portion i guess.
Backgroung is quite good too c: Just have a little patience and u can improve more!! GOOD LUCK !!

Let's start then
Pros:
Overall anatomy seems correct, except the knees/legs seem a bit off. Her expression very well done, but her lips look slightly too large? I'm not sure if she naturally has bigger lips. The hair is a plus, looking glossy and smooth, with lots of movement and natural flow.
Cons:
I think you could've placed more detail on the clothing (creases and folds, etc) It helps make the picture more dynamic.
I think while the background is an interesting choice, it may be slightly too busy and detracts the viewer from the focal point of the image. I think that if it is a raging fire behind her, there should be at least some red/orange/yellow backlighting on her.
Overall, this is a good piece of work, but there's a lot to room for improvement (:

Other things that I like in this picture is the pose, because it has movement, like the rest of picture, which is great. Also it portrays emotions quite well, in my opinion. The stylization of the character is pretty and the dress are nice. I like the colours, especially the pinkish highlights, but background is maybe too vivid for me. The design of the weapon looks cool.
What puzzles me is the is the way small pieces of hands, the weapon and the hair are cut from picture. I am sure, you could expand the canvas in PS a little and there would be enough space e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Um, the white edges were intentional, lol. In my honesty, I was
playing around with photoshop.
Um, the reason why some of her hand and sword is cut out is
because I drew it on cardstock paper before scanning it and the
scanner cut off some of the sketch >__<
And I agree, I do need more creases on the clothing

This is a pretty cool deviation
Maybe to improve, you could add a bit more texture to the rest of her? The hair and face looks fantastic but dosnt exactly match the rest of the body, so adding more details could fix that nicely.

Did get to meet her in Super Smash Bros 4. A Perfect Opponent for my Swords-Mii in Black Roman-Armor. and Long Sword. And I wish I'd play FE:A, but It would turn out hard for the death Permanent thingie. I can get reckless losing somebody, or most by bad luck.

I love her glossy hair! The glowing sword was a nice touch; just a thought, but you could try making it brighter by making the blade a lot whiter . . . kinda like how a glow stick sheds colored light but is itself white? I'm not sure if this makes sense, and that's maybe not the effect you were going for anyway . . . but I like it.
