I can still remember when you stole the pink from blushing roses and put it back into my cheeks.When you stole the purple from confident irises and so carefully placed it within my step.
I remember when you stole the blue from tranquil skies and released it back into my eyes.
When you stole the red pigment from your brazen blood and unleashed it within my soul.
I remember when you stole the orange from vibrant sunsets and permitted it to escape into my speech.
When you stole the green from pure sweet grass and locked it within my heart's chambers.
And yes, I can still remember when you stole the yellow from gay finches and unearthed it within my fingertips.
I need you, love.

Thank you! I really love this one myself. It's so pure, and yet speaks of something tainted. I've always liked to look back on things I've written. I meant to submit a whole pile today, but I forgot to bring them yet again. My computer's internet isn't working so well again and it won't let me submit, so I'm using a friend's. If I don't write one in the next couple hours, you'll probably hear something from me on Friday or so. Something terrible always happens when I try to submit. I also draw and photomanipulate, but I haven't been able to because just as I was finishing this really nice one my computer crashed and when it started back up Photoshop was the only program that had been affected. I can't find my CD anywhere. So there've been some problems.

Can't wait until then. Ideally, I'll get some poetry downloaded tomorrow, but as far as anything else, it will have to wait untill I can get a hold of someone's scanner. Hopefully not long. It's always something with computers, isn't it?

i love this! this was a really awsome concept. the imagery was so beautiful and i love the way you compared the colors of love with nature. It was almost like the love was so naturally vibrant. Very creative!

It was really fun to write. It really just started out as an almost tune in my head; Some kind of notion about something. It nearly wrote itself. I love it when that happens. Thank you for all your lovely opinions. You're another poet I admire. You have some very visual work. I hope to one day aspire to your abilities. I'm really just an artist who sometimes has trouble expressing certain ideas with pictures.
