Description
I wanted to use the Four Strand Braid brush from ibisPaint X. After multiple layers of placing braids and adding the top head base, I got the consistency that is pleasing to me. I tried the Line Art Extraction filter for the braids, but it came out bland. Using the Brightness/Contrast filter gave the braids more crisp, sharp lines with a light gray color fill.
Then I tested a few layer blending modes for the color base of the braids, until I ended up with Color blending mode.
NOTE: the whole drawing took around eight hours yesterday, but I had to fix up the background and her chest better twice today. It even took longer than that.
