Amazing Day of the Dead skull. I love the unique feel of it. Coming from Tucson where Dia de los Muertos is a huge event I see the same skulls over and over again. Occasionally do I find a skull that stands out. If you were to make this from a sugar skull, (not sure how molding the bones would work out) this skull would probably win one of the many decorating contests.

HRm... I can see working this with fondant...just shaping the cake and covering it with chocolate modeling clay or fondant. It'd be a fun cake!!
