Description Influence map meme by that I found through

Nope, I didn't follow the guidelines. Half of this was easy-peasy, and half was tricky, whittling down influences. A number of the images are multi-purpose: the sandworm is not only there because I love Schoenherr's illustrations but because Herbert's Dune novels are very close to my heart. Sienkiewicz is there but Adams is not because I feel like Sienkiewicz managed to completely digest all the good points of Adams' style and transcend it. And so-on.

Yep, very fun! If nothing else it's a great excuse to look at art you love just for the purposes of selecting a picture to cut and paste in there.
