Colored version of this .I tried to keep the colors relatively flat, in the spirit of the old cartoon. The background paintings in the series were always so dynamic; skies of great tumult, volcanoes, claw-like mountains and burning sunsets. Then the characters were standard, dead-flat cels... I looked for a reasonable compromise, here.

Lol Wow I feel so old because I use to watch this as a kid and now a days they have some dumb ass shows on that are about fake real life and not to many awsome cartoons.

This is very good! Skeletor actually doesn't look like a klutz here (He-Man once tripped him up by moving aside).
I think there were two reasons the characters were flat-colored: cost and time, and the fact that flat colors stand out more against a complex background. Anime does that a lot.

I just had to fave this for the incredible details of Skeletor's face, the muscle structure, the fur, and the shadowy inking of the smoke and mountains. Fantastic job!

please post more masters of the universe art , i love your style when you draw them! inspiring actually to be honest.
i also like the fog on the ground to hide the lower parts / legs / feet and whatnot.
some people might ask why dont you just draw the rest , but i think its fun to play around with the environment and it also is kinda creepy to have fog on the ground ,adds to character i think ,and added nicely i'll say!

Great work. There's a real dynamism to the poses that I think is the best thing about the imageβit communicates subtly but concretely the action of the moment. Skeletor has a genuinely threatening presence, Beastman a genuinely βcowedβ one. Very well done.
