cocoon-like and like a shell of a plant, like a seed pod that is 100 years old.

hehe would need a major disaster, my last move in that domain was coding for an artistic installation about AZF in Toulouse in 2002. Seriously i'm in awe for what you did. Quite a piece of real life...

It looks like a pod that holds some strange creature inside. Must be my pain meds...

I've been the cause of many rifts and I've been inside them in the mountains too. I see how this could represent either version of the word. Also it seems, monolithic feeling, a floating monolith, emerging out of or disappearing into the darkness like a message in an eight ball.. That's what I get. Excellent work!!!

you got it quite perfectly, jay. thanks for this brilliant comment! if you relate the monolith aspect to one's mind, or to the symbol of the egg, or even the whole planet, you'll have the complete picture of the intents that led to the work... but it's what you get from it that is important in the end, as soon as the pic is done the intents are replaced by the work's own life and significance.

thank you very much Andrew! The fine lines in the bottom are a weird effect of some 'fan' variation.
i prize very much comments from one of the the best 'flamers' around. (which reminds me that i promized myself to go on a fav spree in your gallery like weeks ago)
