Chapter 3 - Follow where Ever He may Go
(3rd person)

John had been there at Philip's first words, first steps, first everything and no His first day of school. John swore he wouldn't cry which he kept, Just a few tears escaped him. He looked at Eliza and Alexander who were hugging. Eliza sobbing and holding her stomach. "Oh my baby is growing up so fast!" She cryed into Alex's shoulder.

"Eliza, dear, He's just going to school" Alex laughed. Philip ran to his mother and hugged her. "Ow!" Philip backed away, "Mom! Your stomach kicked me!" he rubbed his cheek and pouted. John doubled over laughing, tears falling from his eyes. Philip glared at john and walked to the door. John just sorta floated behind him as he opened the door. There stood-

Aaron Burr and his daughter, Theodosia. "Mr.Burr! Theo!" Philip hugged Theodosia tightly. John's vision went blurry and heard a gunshot.

Horses were running all around the streets, people screaming, Confusion on every face. John grabbed the 5 year old Philip and covered him, Golden wings surrounded the two children and Mr.Burr. John held then tightly, Philip close to his chest. Philip closed his eyes listening to john's soft, calm heat beat till the rush in the street was over.

Eliza and Alex ran outside to check on them. "Philip! Are you okay?!" Eliza yelled. "Aaron burr, sir, are you and Theodosia alright?" Alex asked helping them up. After they dusted off the officers came through dragging a British shoulder by his hands. John covered little Philip's eyes. The soldier was wearing an american uniform, But under it was his British uniform. His hands were tied as he was dragged through the dirt streets on the back of a horse. "Come on Philip, Let's hurry!" Theo ran towards the school house. John followed behind trying to figure out....

Where did he get these beautiful wings?
