Second of the drawings of the Mane 6.Art Note:
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaair. How does it work?!
I also don't know if I should just 'paint' backgrounds instead of doing lineart then coloring it in. The first choice sounds much better. I might experiment on it a bit in the next drawing I do.

I think the way you drew the background looks really great! It has a uniqueness to it that's very refreshing. Also, I've found that hair is the hardest thing to shade/highlight, so don't worry and just do what most people do: wing it! XD <3
