AMAZING! Wow, this reminds me of how I was planning on doing this. You just fill the page with black crayon and use a thumbtack or a paperclip for relief right? This is awesome. Your pieces always have a storybook, adventurous feel. love it.

Something I suggest you do before you start scraping is to before you cover it with black, or whatever color, be sure to put a base crayon layer down too (usually a lighter color). Like with this one i put down white crayon underneath because without it, in the spots where i scrape the 2nd black layer off, the white wont show and it will just look grey(look in the upper right corner where i got lazy to see what i mean).
But you should just experiment with it, I can't wait to see what you make!
