Description Verity is one of the very few human characters in any TF series that I actually like.

This looks really nice, I think her face is a little awkward, but then that kind of angle is pretty difficult. Overall there's a nice sense of life and appropriate level of detail, good going ^_^

And ah yes, one of the three best human characters ever.

Shame, then, that Jimmy completely disappeared without a trace, Hunter just got outright killed off in a mean-spirited, stupid way and Verity got almost entirely ignored until way later and then abandoned to wander Earth, probably never to be seen again.

I really can't stand current IDW since the end of All Hail Megatron, so much stupid...

Would't LSOTW count as "current", since it came out after AHM?

I agree that Hunter's end was very disappointing, since he had the potencial to become a great character (and then we got Super Spike - yuck), but Verity, ignored? She was practically the main character in LSOTW, she stood firm against Overlord and ultimately defeated him - the same guy who put Springer in a coma. While I'd love to see her again, her story is tied to Earth and we've thankfully moved on from there. Besides, she has Ironfist's backup drive, I'm sure her story isn't over.

While I agree that IDW's work since AHM has been very inconsistent (AHM had its good things but it really messed up the continuity, and the less I talk about the Ongoing the better), I think the current ongoings are some of the best stuff we've ever had in the franchise. The characters are all lovable, three dimensional and grow through the series, there's a lot of world-building and continuity welding, mature and new themes are explored (the war is finally over! how cool is that?) and most importantly, they are fun and entertaining. And the art is gorgeous. Which is all I can ask of my giant robots comics, really.

(Sorry for the long post, I just found your last line a bit off-putting. Now I'll stop diverting attention from lahteh's amazing work, which is great, btw)

Like I said, "Ignore until way later then dumped on Earth"--way later being LSOTW. And to be honest, I simply cannot be bothered to wade through all the awful stuff to get to the supposed diamond in the rough that is Last Stand of the Wreckers. Optimus being a symbol for war, retaking the name Orion Pax and just leaving, never to be seen again? That's bullshit.

And as for MTMTE... so much went wrong before that, so many inconsistencies cropped up, I really don't like the art direction, the constant change in tone, the characterisations that have almost no relation to who these people were supposed to be, even in the early stories characters I simply do not care about getting the spotlight, I've just decided to abandon the whole IDW universe, and I never plan on looking back.

Sorry, that's just how I feel.

Yeah, I did have a bit of trouble with her face and am still not quite happy with it myself. But thanks!
