This years progress! 2017 went by so quickly, it feels like i literally just made the 2017 one. So i kind of freaked out when i realised it would be a year in a few days XD
I've made alot of progress this year.
The previous ones look very messy to me, i was very sloppy (note the hair on the first one, what even happened?) and anatomy was just out of the question, the 2017 one seriously looks lika an alien. The eyes are WAY to big, her neck is WAY to long. And i had no clue how to draw the neck area/collarbone. I still struggle with it, but it's definitely alot better.
This year i want to get better at not having to rely in references as much as i do, it's become something that i've needed since i have had a hard time with my old tablet for such a long time. But since ive finally been able to get a cintiq i hope this wont be too much of a problem anymore. I want to get better at backgrounds. (backgrounds in general, wich colours would work with the piece, how detailed etc) i've always struggled with what to do for a background so hopefully it will get easier this year.

But nonetheless i hope you enjoy! And i hope this year will be a good one.
