The fourth in the series! I know it's a little diff from the rest, but this is for blogs and posts. The others are for wallpapers.Viva la LarsaxPenelo
Made while listening to 'It's Over' by Jesse McCartney. Awesome song. Customized with Adobe Photoshop Cs2, mouse and keyboard.

I just use the polygonal lasso, make use of the smudge, blur, dodge, burn tools.
I don't really do anything special for mine.

I actually capture cutscenes from games, I can go over XII again and see if I can nab the cutscenes for you. ((I actually have a new account on dA - Enetirnel, which is also my new YouTube account)).

I use the airbrush eraser, however I tend to just delete selections after making use of the polygonal lasso.

So... you uh... painstakingly maximize on the picture and little by little... lasso it?? Wow....

Yeah, or I zoom out and select around it and delete the inverse selection.
Either way the polygonal lasso will give you the cleanest extracted edge.
