The best is simplicity. Simply picture of breakfast but it's something what catches my eye and I like it.

Those cookies look cool, the waffles look TASTY, the plate looks a bit small (XD), and what is that in the bowl in the top left? Also, is that a mug of MILK? o_O I'd use a cup and save the mug for something like cocoa. XD And what are those little crumbs all over the table?

It might just be me, but it's been forever since I've seen a still life that was actually set up and given some obvious thought. I like this, a bit too soft with the color, but it's pretty all the same. I'd say a DD well deserved.

Nice composition and overall frame but not thrilled with the light ratio and the edge gradient is a bit too drastic for me. Certainly the frame needs to have the waffles highlighted and brighter than the rest of the scene but a little more light in the bowl at upper left and a little less drastic burning on the outer frame would probably make a better image for me. Right now you have that nice soft natural looking light coming from the top of the frame and then BAM, the bright light on the waffles. Just a bit too harsh of a ratio. Just my humble opinion. I actually like a lot of your other work much better than this one.

yeah actually this is just a fast weekend photo... cause outside isn't much
to photograph at the moment. as you can see in my gallery i'm more the nature typ.
this one i made one morning, with bad lightning, simply cause i wanted to take a picture Ö_Ö
after 7 years on DA im just happy to get a DD and yes i think my other works a much better,
but what can i do?

Well you absolutely deserve a DD for your good work and you should be excited. I remember when I got my first DD about 5 years ago.
