When I designed a new outfit for Lain, (a longlasting friend and characterization for my art) for this 2021, I never expected to desing her as a Cosmic entity. I swear it's not my fault. Everything came up when a friend recently texted me, telling me that he just had a dream with me, in where I was a tarot reader (I readed people's futures) and he gave me a deck since it seemed that I needed a second one. That's it.

This friend lives in another country, we have never meet in person, but it's one of those friend that you apprecciate a lot and despite not talking a lot you always consider them a friend. But the idea of the tarot reader got stuck on my mind. I have been working with Tarot Desings for a while and I LOVE IT, absolutely. It expands and breaks all barriers and limits for my art and I can create without necessary realism rules or similar.

But... well, sometimes, realistic art (specially for fantasy artists) is needed, so I have been working on full styled pieces for a long while. But I... I really love designing cards. And reading my excited client's stories, doesn't matter how lenghty or detailed, I love to take a coffee each morning at dawn and reading a reference from a client.

This piece born one of those mornings when with my sketchbook, the idea of the tarot reader hit me with the fact that I need to make more cards, I need to use my art for tell more stories.

So... here we are. Thank you for the lessons, 2020!
