Description
Some pages from one of my assignments where I had to make a hand-bound color book. Hence the pages had colorscheme requirements: monochromatic, complementary, analogous, triadic (hence kinda blah colors) and tetradic.
A lot of fun though, even with how loosely I was working. Watercolors, and acrylics for the last one. (And yup, some pretty heavy Igarashi influences, can't deny. I'm trying to be more cinematic-!)
And sorry, but I'm still a hopeless romantic...

Hehehehee--you should, it's quite easy! It's just a base wash of clear water with blue around the edges, then the ripply bits~

Awwwwwwwww, thanks so much, dear! The last one was fun, and I hardly blended the colors at all, the water and acrylics did that for me! I really want to try playing with acrylic washes actually, seems like it could be fun~ c:

Actually yeah, that was kind of what I was going for, so I'm glad-!
(There was another reason too--because when I went swimming in the ocean it felt to me the most like home, and I couldn't get the word "mother" out of my head... but that's a bit more difficult to explain, hahahah. xD; )

This is really so beautiful!! I always want to try making stuff like this myself, but I don't actually like working traditionally ahaha
I love all the colours you picked (even if you think they're kind blah lol) and the scenes are lovely and perfect.
