Finally, a sketchdump-!! I haven't posted one since friggin' January, and the really depressing part is that everything I've got since January barely fills my normal-size sketchdump, whereas I used to fill sketchdumps every month/two months in the past... ;=;I guess that's been really indicative of how bad this artslump has been, hahah. Though it's also a combination of an artslump + a grueling semester + storyboarding gigs, so, hey... still, the lack of personal art's been a bit of a bummer, so I really hope to make a comeback this summer~ u_u
Anyway!! Lotta old stuff spread all over the place, and more recent stuff as well!! I'm still really behind on posting a lot of the stuff that I've made recently I guess; dunno about posting classwork though hahahaha. Anyways, a lot of shenanigans and sadness and a sample of the digital figures that completely consumed me this past semester. 8');;;
(It was worth it though I guess for the practice and improved anatomy-! ...I hope ;o;)
Sorry I'm always working on multiple stories, I can never seem to just focus on one for very long.... u_u

Ahahahaha, yeah the animals were really pretty cute! They brought over a raccoon, too, but I didn't really like many of the sketches from that... it was a lot of fun, but easy just to. get. distracted by how cute the animals were. xD

I spent a whole semester practicing digital paintings from refs hahahaha, yeah, but even my professor said he liked my backlighting/dramatic lighting... for me, I just swear it was easier that way........ xD;;

You're welcome!!! it's really great though because what you've learned from references you've learned to directly apply it to what you see in your mind. Tbh there's not a lot of people that can do that, a lot of people end up relying on refs and it can be a bit of a detriment sometimes. I'm not trying to slight people who use refs because there's nothing wrong with doing that but it just makes it all the more worthwhile if you can apply what you see to something that doesn't exist
