Description
The centaurs are a proud race who for the most part refused the seals the humans forced upon them, choosing instead to live in their own semi-autonomous zones. These zones ended up stricken with poverty and malnutrition due to the lack of support from the human government, but most centaurs continue to live there and try to preserve their traditions.Rouka cast his family and heritage behind when he left for a better life in the city, and has no regrets about being sealed. Or at least, that's what he says...

I love the concept of mythological creatures and human government struggling to coexist, it sounds like a really interesting dynamic. I wonder though, how did it come for mythological beings and humans to live together in the first place? Or has it always been like that?

That's actually the big mystery surrounding the story/the basic premise for Iris, is that suddenly all these mythological beings appeared and are living with humans, and the humans are trying to figure out how to co-exist. xD (More like control/subdue the other species, let's be honest e_e;; )
