History:
  Kaera grew up in Goldenrod City, never becoming intimate with any Pokemon nor having any personal connection with any. This was partly due to the fact that there had not been a trainer in her family for years and partly due to the bias of her mother, who’d been poisoned by a Pokemon at a young age and never quite recovered. When Kaera was 16, her mother’s heath had worsened drastically, the large city’s polluted air only making the problem worse. In order to aid her mother’s recovery, the family decided to move to the calmer Violet City also home to one of the best specialists in her ailment. Kaera was immediately captivated upon meeting this doctor who worked alongside Pokemon in such a harmonious relationship, that cured even her mother’s anxiety of Pokemon. What struck her the most was how, even as knowledgeable and intelligent as she was, the doctor continued to learn from Pokemon. Kaera’d never gotten to witness such a relationship and quickly realized how ignorant of her own world she was. Fascinated and eager to learn more, Kaera became the apprentice of the doctor, learning the ways of medicine, specializing herself in antidotes. Finally, at the age of 19, after studying under the doctor for 3 years, she set off on her own to add to her knowledge of medicines and hopefully research and discover new healing innovations.

Extra Quirks:

She has a habit of sticking her tongue out slightly while concentrating deeply and although it embarrasses her to no end, she’s never quite managed to break the habit.
She has a little brother whom she cares for deeply.
She carries around a journal that she write both scientific observations and personal anecdotes in.

Ivy, born without effective antibodies, kept poisoning herself after she'd learned the move Poison Powder. Kaera had found her sick and dying in the woods and nursed her back to life. At first, Kaera could only manage to neutralize the poisons as they came, but after a few months of tireless research, she eventually solved the problem, allowing Ivy to become immune to her own poisons. As the first Pokemon she'd treated independently of her mentor, Kaera had been nervous at first but quickly formed a tight bond with the energetic bulbasaur, who later became her first pokemon. Ivy helped her with research and attending to patients before the two decided to broaden their horizons.

Extra Traits:
Ivy often gets Kaera/the Team into sticky situations, though never on purpose. She's just curious like her trainer...and is a bit unlucky.

A close friend of Kaera's mentor and as well as Kaera's neighbor from Violet City, had a Azumarill who'd laid eggs. The trainer, originally an ace, wanted the young Azurill to see the world and thus gave him to Kaera before she began her journey. As the baby of the team he's well looked after but sometimes ends up taking care of them instead. Despite his occasional mature side however, he still manages to get into trouble with Ivy every now and then.

Ammie used to live on a Gogoat farm. As the runt of the herd and a naturally shy Pokemon, she was outcast, often standing on the sidelines, watching the others. Suddenly one day, all the Gogoats and Skiddo besides Ammie had become sick for and Kaera was called in to help. With the help of Ammie, Kaera had found the source to be a group of Grimer poisoning their main herd's drinking hole. The poisonous pokemon were relocated and Kaera provide antidotes for the herd. Ammie, inspired by this human, and feeling useful for once, decided to join Kaera on her journey.

Ammie trains in secret, sneaking off at random times in order to be reliable and strong.

Reva had belonged to a trainer prior to Kaera, a grass-finatic who'd raised Reva since she was an egg. Loyal and eager to please, Reva had went out one day to surprise her trainer by evolving but had mistaken the stone and evolved into a Vaporeon instead of the Leafeon the trainer had wanted. As a result, the trainer abandoned the newly evolved Vaporeon, leaving her to fend for herself despite her domestic upbringing. Eventually, Reva learned the ways of the wild but lost her happy-go-lucky demeanor as a result and grew to be cynical and cold. She would often chase anyone who got too close away. But after a few odd events, she joined Kaera's party. To this day though, Reva dislikes all Leafeon.

She loves children/ young pokemon and is extremely protective. They're basically the only ones that see her kind side
