So, she is FINALLY DONE!!! Steam Punk Supergirl based on the artwork by MahmudAsrar and inspired by the recolor done by Chris Shields

The corset was the hardest and most time consuming part of this costume. there was a LOT of hand sewing, satin stitching and piping on this corset. it is fully lined with boning up four of the seams. There are close to 40 eyelets in the back, and the bolero pattern was drafted from scratch and made out of Dupioni cream silk. Both skirts were patterned from scratch, and the lace gloves were made earlier for another costume.The adorable Supergirl belt buckle was made for me by Adrienne!

This costume is so much fun to wear and I feel so pretty in it! I think she will come with me to every convention from here on out!
