wow this is absalutly amazing. I was glad to hear you say it was chalk and charcol because i have lost both of those lol...i have just started a horse drawing actually and got stuck when i had to decide a medium....you make me want to try something new. i have never really used my chalk yet but there a first time for everything. It could be a disaster or it could be really cool....your stuff is so amazing. thumbs up to you and continue with it cuz you are amazing!!

Pastel is very messy and it does take a little while to develope your technique but definitely a lot of fun and worth a try!

You have a precious gift! When you say soft pastels, do use oil based, or wax based? It mustn't be chalk, because it looks too smooth.
This one is my favorite, because it looks like an oil painting, and extremely realistic, almost like a photo.

I have an old chalk charcoal set that my late grandfather had handed down to me, but the color selection is geared towards a floral color spectrum, so unless I draw rainbow horses, I am outta' luck. Your work is definitely phenomenal!
