I'm sorry Beats, I just couldn't resist it!! XDLazy, I know, but it was just a time killer. On my wanderings around, I stumbled across Beat's Walfas DNA and decided to use Walfas to make an Anti-Touhou image...oh the irony. X3
Oh, and if you're wondering, the character on the bottom left is my Walfas self and the character on the top right is Dee (or 'Day-Z as her character's called). Just showed her how to work Walfas and I liked her design so she gets a cameo.

Yeah, I saw how that one moron was acting on his newest vid (whether he was trolling or not, the guy was an a**hole) and I can see why Beats got sick of the demanding fans. Especially if they were operating on the same level of idiocy. I'm just glad he's doing stuff he enjoys now, no-one should be bound to something they hate for the sake of people who don't appreciate it.

yep, this sums up how i feel in the fandom in recent years very well, epically the "you belong to us" line, man you know me too well XD
the only good side is there are some good people in the fandom...but about half of them have a habit of defending the people who sucked the fun out of the series for me instead of trying to be reassuring about this nasty situation, ya know, the thing a true friend does, pick you up when your down

i will warn you it may get you into trouble, not from me, i'll happily defend you, but to give you heads up, im not allowed to say anything bad so...yea
especially the pony line, whenever 'fans' connect ponies, touhou and beats it often leads to 'beats left us for ponies' rather than 'beat left us for how we treated him', because apparently im not allowed to be a fan of any other series (clearly missing the signs im a blatant yugioh nutcase fan)
and drogo's line...flat out LOL XD

*What? Aren't I a Touhou nut. To a degree, but it's probably the path I found out about the series... through artists I already respected making fan images and animations.
I know from this quarter, that not loving what you do... makes it impossible to work on something in animation.
Work on your reels and I'll work on mine.
P.S. to the Walfas Station Wagon... The ponies I'm referring to are MLP:FiM, not the "Pretty Pretty Pony".

And yeah, I've encountered that in other fandoms, lost a few friends before because I lost my cool and flat out shouted "I WANT TO LIKE YOU! STOP DEFENDING THE NUTTERS!" XS I really need to watch the temper lol.
Oh I'm not too fussed about backlash, if people hate me for it then let them, can't please em all. I was more worried about making a fanart for you that you'd end up hating, can't think of anything more cringeworthy than that. Besides, you're my friend, I'll take your corner any day.

wow, i actually said that myself, not word for word but for a guy on skype over touhou-ness, after that he finally dropped it after that and we talked about other stuff, we had an enjoyable conversation where i learnt i had more in common with him than i relaised and shared many simlair opinions...good god looking at that in hindsight ist amazing that its actually something that happened in real life

aw thanks, that really does mean alot, at times like this itβs good to know i have friends i can trust, especially when some friends in this ordeal made me wonder if i can trust them
aw man, i can still remember the worst comment i ever read about it, a enactment of crappy star wars 3 dialogue (that was cheesy the first time i saw it), "you were the chosen one, you were meant to unite the touhous not join the bronies, you were my brother and i loved you"...okay then:
1. i never wanted to be a 'chosen one', just a regular video-making fan
2. again, im not clearly allowed to be a muti-fan
3. ...this is from a complete stranger who popped put from nowhere and just called me his brother...thats not honouring, thats creepy

Lol but yeah, I have lost a fair few friends over really trivial stuff, but tbh if I could lose them that easily, they weren't real friends. I have my four 'real life' friends who are awesome and my online friends so I'm happy. X3
