I've been wondering, do you do color these in by hand or is openCanvas like a program of some sort, because that sorta looks like it was colored in with water color or some kind of marker. which is really cool

I personally vastly prefer it over Photoshop.
Some people say openCanvas is easier to use than Photoshop, and some people say it's more difficult, so I guess it just sort of depends. You should definitely give it a try if you haven't ever used it before though o:

This is gorgeous! I love the eyes. Though that's kind of nasty...the thing about the Pierrot cutting their mouth to make it bigger...my mouth will be having sympathy pains, over that one, all day. ^__^

I love how you did the shading of the face~ It gives the character a very 3-D feel (not like flat 2-d stuff, more depth and it really looks good :3 )

A pierrot is like... a sad clown. usually dressed in white. I've always kind of liked pierrots, because when I was little, my older sister had a whole bunch of porcelain dolls dressed up as clowns/jesters/harlequins/etc. and the pierrot doll was really small and adorable (even though he looked so sad 
The blush I used for this picture was somewhere around this color: [link] but I was on a multiple layer, so it turned out a little darker than that XD

I HAD A PIERROT DOLL WHEN I WAS LITTLE she was PURPLE. was it a she? XD but i loved her to death but later in life, i got a phobia of clowns and i wasn't able to play with it anymore XD;; my poor doll it was so cute i should try looking for it again.
