4L Bar:
2L
1.5L
1L
3L Axle rod w/ stud at end
2.5L
1.5L

3L Axle rod
2.5L
2L Axle rod
1.5L
Axle pin
.5L trim to axle side
Metru Nui Head
Sanded down the front portion a great deal, a long with behind the chin for better
range of motion (the brain stalk and 2L bar inside of it were also modified a bit to fit
the mask on, being so much further back than how it would've before the mod)
Hau Stars Mask
Sanded and reshaped to adapt to the original style, while keeping it much smaller
Lance
Trimmed to fit a 5L Axle rod
Antenna 1 x 4
Got rid of bar (used for other pieces), removed bottom connector
L-Shape Liftarm
Got rid of end axle sockets to create the inner shoulder pieces
3x1 Liftarm plate
Got rid of one side for Lewa to have 2L length liftarms.

I've been attempting to replicate these guys, but I've made a few slight modifications, specifically to Onua. For the claws, rather than using the original claw pieces, try using a black star wars battle droid body. The peg on it should fit right into the ball joint you use to connect the hands. Then, since there are three three bar spaces on he battle droid body piece, put three battle droid heads on it, facing toward the ball joint, because they resemble the claws themselves. Unfortunately the droid heads don't come in black, so painting them might be the only option there, but it allows the fingers of Onua's claws to move freely from each other.

So it's been almost 2 months, any progress?

yo dude i have a pretty good idea, instead of using the bar pieces, use flextube. you get way more friction on the joints with that shit

Only you don't, at all. Β Flextubes are polypropylene or polyamide, probably the latter, and both have significantly reduced friction in contact with polycarbonate (the liftarms in this case) than polycarbonate has with itself (lightsaber pieces).

You did a amazing job emulating their torso pieces!

Compared to your Tahu and Kopaka, how did you produce the hunched neck appearance? I noticed you changed the pieces for the upper shoulders to smooth out his upper body.

In fact, if it isn't so inconvenient, could you give us more in depth images of your toa re-revamp abdomens for all 4 of your toa?

I'll have to go back and look because I don't remember specifically what I did. There's an LDD of tahu that I'll link to you once I'm of mobile.

The guy who did the LDD actually did an onua so he might be able to give more specifics since mine's disassembled right now.

He'll also have the LDD for download (only of the new tahu) since I'm too lazy to dig it up right now.

This is actually a bit deceiving as the photo angle is a tad bit high/the ones in back are more curved up because of the powerboard, but they're about 2-3 studs shorter than the originals.
