Description
The coolest part about learning new processing techniques is going back through my massive collection of RAW images that have never been touched. It's been very cathartic to breathe new life into these old images and to finally be happy with them.

Beautiful colors. Β It's interesting to see how different your falls are out there- not as slippery and mossy as in the NW. A gorgeous image.

Thanks Jean! They are very different, depending on where you go. Sometimes they're even more slippery out here because of the muddy bottoms of the creeks and rivers. I very much prefer the boulders and moss of the NW!Β

It HAS been forever! I think he and I are both very tired of flying back and forth. He just flew back on Tuesday after being here for a few days.

boom! straight up the best shot of douglas ive seen! and i looked at quite a few after visiting there! water exposure is exquisite but those rocks are my favorite part..they lead you nicely to that sweet ride down the water flow

Believe it or not, it's not a terribly relaxing place! The water smells horrible due to the acid pollution from mining (that's why the rocks are orange) and the rocks are slippery as heck and not at all easy to get around on. But I'm very happy the photo evoked that soothing feeling...that makes my day, Tris.
