My friend =NeipyPien and her friend *retropiink wanted a male character to go with Eppie.

: Background :
Esteban's family, three children, was living in Vancouver on a farm. The mother was taking care of the farm and kids while the father was working in a metal factory. Poor and indebted, the family had harsh times. Magic in the house was quite a taboo subject, and children did not know about Poudlard. Esteban was the second child, still had to help his mother to take care of his younger sister, but also his older brother who had a mental illness. He really learnt fast to be the strongest and care about the others around him. He knows people are depending on him and it does not stress him anymore. It also shown him that weaknesses are not allowed. Or you fall... or people around stop trusting you. His father, working very hard, once home, was very serious. But the lack of smile never meant he did not like his children, even the oldest was very important to him. This attitude also rubbed off onto Esteban's personality. Once he likes someone, he will like him/her until the end. Taking care of his brother who is different made of him someone that is quite patient but also tolerant toward people in need... or -special-. Even thought Esteban is a well-mannered boy, he is still a boy. Sometimes, he can be very selfish and childish.

Around his 10 years old, his father noticed something into Esteban's soul. Magic flowed through his veins and he could not keep the taboo subject secret anymore. He revealed to his son that he, himself, was once a student from a very special school. Of course, the child really was not happy that no one ever told him before that day, but it also was making him dream. His father promised that, if he manages to get a promotion at work, they would move in England and let Esteban join the school. For him to have maybe a better future than working in a metal factory. And it happened. The father got the promotion and the family changed of country.

It did not take time before the family changes from being poor to being more than comfortable. And that new luxury changed a lot of things in the house. First, the older brother could have a better education. And for Esteban, it was success and popularity. Show off, he leant to like comedy and being the center of attention, and not only for the best reasons.
One thing is sure... the base will never change.
He is the jaunty boy with a big heart.
