In the 19th-century London, Erik Von Skarem was a Victorian surgeon and owned a asylum, Skarem Ashmount Asylum. But that was a front for his experiments on inmates, where they had to go to bed at the stroke of midnight, and if they didn’t, Erik would come take them away for a little operation. They say that his “operations” were so horrific that they were afraid to even come out of their rooms. But there was a fire, and the inmates were so scared of the doctor then the fire, they burned with the hospital. Some say that Erik set the place on fire himself to hide evidence from the police, and couldn’t escape. The asylum burned away and to this day the London minister turned it into a London set. But they say at the stroke of midnight, if you hear the footsteps then the Phantom of Erik Von Skarem will get you.
