Reimagining Of The Spooky Space Kook

Before his Mutation, he was once an astronaut named Henry Bascombe. When he was young farm boy Henry had big ambitions to become an astronaut. As he grew older that day finally came when he was approached by a group from NASA offering a spot in their program. After months of vigorous training Henry was accepted and was given his first assignment. His mission was to head to Mars to find any form of life living there and report back to Earth. While exploring, Henry discovered a strange rock and planned to bring it back to Earth with him. Unbeknownst to him there was a parasitic worm living in the rock which soon infected Henry as he made his way back to Earth. After landing, Henry started exhibiting strange behaviors and mannerisms. He soon discovered the infection and his it from the rest of the astronaut crew and staff. To protect them Henry took off in a secret compact shuttle hoping the infection wouldn't spread to anyone else. As soon as he took off the infection had already spread through his body taking control of his brain turning him into a feral and highly intelligent Martian able to adapt to his surroundings. His shuttle crashed into a shuttle graveyard and from then on has resided there.
