A gift comic for featuring her Halo fan characters in a little skit as a little thank you gift for recently Watching the account.also if anyone is wondering about the "Brute hair" comment, well its kinda some thing I've noticed with the brute leaders in both the Halo wars games as the Chieftain from halo wars 1 and atriox from 2 both seam to have a dreadlocks, its probably a brute custom and i thought it'd a funny comparison the Colo farmer would make about dawn! ;D

You know, I never thought about the similarities between Dawn and many Brutes wearing dreadlocks. But now that you mention it, I can absolutely see that Elites would catch on to it and use it as an insult. This is great! Seems you really like the old colo herder and his nephew.

The last gift art i did for you is over 2 years ago now, so i thought it'd be time to do something more up-to-date with my current work as well as entertaining!
on the brute comment, yea considering the rivalry between the two species it'd make sense that both species would know aspects of each others culture just for the sake mockery! (kinda like how an Englishman such as myself would mock a Frenchman over their snail or Frog leg addiction). but yeah since the farmer is an old warrior i bet he'd encounter a brute pack or two in his lifetime, so it'd make sense that he'd instantly associate dawn's hair style with a brutes! XD
also the Colo farmer and kid do have a nice dynamic to them as the kid is a young but innocent child compared to his old, tiered, veteran who he calls his grandfather, there a duo that i cannot wait to see fleshed out more!
i also was going to do some Sketches of Dawn for you instead but they didn't pan out as i hoped and so ended up falling back on this instead!

And yes, you did indeed improve a lot over the last two years (can't believe it's been so long...). I really like the angles in the different panels.
They sure are a sweet pair. I'm surprised by myself how well they work together, so I'll make sure to draw them a few more times in the future
If you like them that much, then you're free to draw them whenever you want. I always like to see what impressions others have gained off my characters and what they do with them.
