I drew a Lich, this guy went through a couple differant stages before this, I'm pretty happy with how it came out in the end.Related content

Awesome piece of work, I especially liked the eyes; they just have this death-feeling. And the worm on the background....Maybe a reference to the King of worms from the elder scrolls series?

Nah. You were probably all like, "Oh haha fuck everyone. Purple Worm's a one shot kill if you blow your reflex save hahaha lalala."

Bony hands stretching his skin, light reflections on the orb, his teeth visible through his rotted flesh.. lots of great details in this one.
It's awfully tall.. all the excess space below the main focus of his torso makes me think he must be really tall and imposing, but with no frame of reference and since i have to scroll in full view, and even some in the smaller, it's hard to tell if that's right. Lots of good detail in him, though, but the toothed worm thing in the background looks a bit bland in comparison. I mentioned before about pieces of a picture not being of the same level - in this case, I think they're of the same level conceptually (the whole scene fits well) but there is a sharp contrast in detail. This could be an unfinished draft, it could be that you didn't want to put any effort, and it could be that you're glaring at me through the internets cuz you didn't want any comments anyway... but Kouga's a helper ^_^ and as I said, I really like the details of the Lich. Looking at it again, I particularly like the depth you gave his eyes... or lack thereof.

hmmm, I see what you mean, I had made him taller than he started out, but because it Originally faded out to abstract dark patches at the bottom it worked, i added the detail to the fabric at the base of his robe later on without thinking about height, so that may have been a factor to throw it off, where if it simply faded to black it wouldent have been clear how far down he actualy went 
hehe, ah yes, the worm >_< I kept him a bit bland mainly because im lazy, but also because i was intending to fade it out way more than i did, so that he was barely visible, perhaps i should have given it sharper edges since i dident? I dont/dident want to give him too much more DETAIL, because I feel it would mess with the balance of the picture even more, and also that uniform detail (especialy if its very high) looks bland and unprofessional.

Man.... I had a really good explaination, but i accidentaly bumped something on my tablet, which made me go back a page, and when i went forward again it was all lost. so now every time i go to DA i go "crap, im going to have to respond to kouga at some point here, but dont really want to spend another 20 muinits typing" but I did have somethink kindof interesting to say, so if you still want to talk about it, call me or IM me, or even better come hang out!
