I finished the first point of the drawing list, it is THE FIRST TIME I use this perspective and idk. I was inpired by an official art of Roy and Riza for this pic.
first, this isn't a ship, not in Dalila's canon story, and yes other types of relationships different from the romantic ones are quite underrated. You won't believe me if I tell you that I "rewrote" the story because of all the things that weren't explained in the first episode because it was a filler. Working on the laboratories and near the martial court, after Mustang "stole" her place becoming Colonel, Dalila renounced, rejecting her state alchemist title and not being the Fast blade alchemist anymore because she discovered the true reason behind the war, but she didn't repent at all, she only regretted her war crimes only because she was fighting for the wrong cause supporting the Homunculi without knowing it. That's why she joined the ice/freezing alchemist's side (that in my story worked in laboratories also during the war and knew the secret of the philosopher stone) and their relationship was...strange, because he himself was horrified by Dalila's behavior even if he is ruthless like her from a certain point of view. Dalila at the beginning didn't understand why he was so mad and unstable incapable of accepting what he did in the war, for her dead people are dead and there is no turning back nor a possibility to cancel what was done and Isaac felt for her a terrible resentment because his feelings were invalidated. Despite that these two had a weird connection given by the fact that they both bring the heavy burden to know everything about the country and being not able to tell it because people won't believe them, and sometimes that brought them to vent on each other. It was that feeling, the same ideology that made Dalila to sacrifice for him during a battle, because even with all the problems she was the only one that finally joined his plan completely being loyal until the end. She was an alchemist and just like him, she used the equivalent exchange as an excuse to kill people to save the country.
