If fun means nearly crying the yes I had a lot of fun with this one.

I originally tried to line a sketch that took a process of 2+hours only because I shake and my linework is shite but after all that, I was ready to give it flat colors. I made it to the skin before SAI and my tablet stopped communicating so usually I fix it with a quick X out and reboot.

Now I SWORE I had saved it as a PSD file but when I went to look for it, this piece I had been working roughly 3 hours just to get kinks and lines enough to color, it was a PNG file. Flattened. No PSD. No layers. All gone.

I wanted to cry sooo bad. I just laid my head down and kept saying "nonononononono" but I took a nap so I wouldn't throw myself for being stupid and once I woke up I tried something in photoshop with the image.

I was able to mask it off and get the lines after reverting it to a greyscale, lightening it up a bit and doing the quick mask to a transparent layer but it took some damage still. Lines were a little transparent but I was able to get it back to a lineart transparent layer which yeeess.

So here.

My original goal was to emphasis on the Valkyrie part of Nora's name. I've been watching a lot of the Vikings Series on History [it's not 100% accurate but it's a damn good series] and I love Norse Mythology. In Ragnarok Online there's even a God item called Brisigamen which is the necklace of the Goddess Freya. Countering that with Nora's obvious Norse Mytho roots[Thor's hammer and her name] I wanted to do something pretty.

Valkyrie's choose who lives and who dies on the fields of battle, taking those half chosen to go to Valhalla while the others go to Freya's domain Fólkvangr.

So this was just a crossover I guess of throwing Freya's necklace on Nora while giving her a headgarment akin to what you see on Valkyries.
