About two weeks ago my friend came to me asking if I would help design a tattoo for her.

Being the ever so slightly ego driven person that I am said, "YES! REALLY? SURE!"

Since then we've been going back and forth on designs.

She wants a peacock with cherry blossoms. Something feminine but not overtly girly.

Here is rough sketch number one. She liked it but isn't feeling the borders and would like more flowers.

So, I am off to do sketch no. 2.

Before hand, I didn't know that peacocks would be such complex designwise birds.
