Description For some reason, Secret of Mana has popped into my head lately and I needed to get it out of my mind and onto a digital canvas. This will be the first of a series of sketches that portray my vision of the game. Enjoy! More to come soon!

All 4 of your paintings from Secret of Mana looks like illustrations for Ragnarok game. Like this plant in Tropicallo, I may be wrong because I haven't play Ragnarok in years, but there was similar creature. On The Ghost by the Waterfall I think I saw a Porring or it was just a mushroom and this bunnies looks like those from "novice" area around Kafra.

Were you inspired by Ragnarok?

The creatures in this picture are from an old game called Secret of Mana, which predates Ragnarok by almost a decade. I'd say Ragnarok was inspired by Secret of Mana (among other classics, like Dragon Quest).

Awww...the sprite child hunting rabites, so cute! I love it! I developed kind of an impish nature just like it, when I was a kid and had played Secret of Mana.

wow this is really amazing *-* i love it when people turn games into realistic art!
i don't know why but i especially love the squirrel! it makes this fantastic world of secret of mana even closer to reality
ahhh the more i look at it the more i love it and the more details are to be found (the candies~)

Absolutely gorgeous background and lighting! The Mushboom are kind of creepy-looking with that expression, and the Rabites are just precious! Is that a Candy I see? =3 I can not wait to see more of these interpretations! =3

thanks! hehe the mushboom are creepy aren't they? yep that is candy... the sprite is supposed to be luring the rabites with candy but it's a little too dark to see...
