Description Hi there!
I made another picture of Marko Saaresto, singer of my favourite band Poets of the Fall aka Old Gods of Asgard. I do love drawing this guy as you could notice
And the picture... it took about two hours in PS. This is not real pencil. I just loved the idea to try something new and used stock brushes from this awesome guy
And it all is because made a b-day wish!

I hope you head is ok now Yep, it's a PS brush. Amazing brush, I must admit. Anyway, I prefer real pencil or coal. I like to *feel* my paper and tools.

Yep, I used a ref pic but I never try to copy them. I just take from there basic lines and shadows

This is just amazing. I mean, I know you're good, but you leave me completely stunned and breathless every time there pops out another picture of yours. You catch every little feature of a person when you draw them so they look totally alive, and Marko's eyes are staring right into my soul.

Aw, I'm happy that you like it, sweet sister Actually I had a pretty hard day today. 6 animated banners and 4 static ones... are too much. So I was horribly tired and ready to go home. But oh mein Gott, I've done nothing for myself, had no rest and such things always make me feel bad. And Marko's been flown around my head all this week. So, I pretended there was no boss around and made this picture. I guess, boss pretended to be blind. Thank him. And thank God, I'm satisfied with result. To tell the truth, I'd draw nothing without a reference picture. But I don't try to copy them. Just for catching features, as you said And while drawing, I try to feel what I draw. I smile, roll my eyes and wink So, some of my pics have a part of me, I guess. And this one too. Omg, I love this guy. Not like an idol, not like a man, just like MARKO.

Aww, I'm sorry your work is so hard, but I'm really happy your boss was kind enough to let you create something for yourself, especially if something as amazing like this Marko picture comes out.
Yeah, references can be helpful. Everyone needs to use them from time to time, otherwise you couldn't improve
And haha, I would love to watch you draw! Must be funny to see you making the faces you want to draw But don't worry, I wouldn't laugh at you

I planned to make his eyes blue 'cos the file itself isn't b/w. But it's so usual for me. I love to colour his eyes everywhere And I do love his smile here too. It's very light and lovely. You're welcome!
