ng and Ingwaz are variations of the same rune, as is the symbol you mentioned. Both represent a seed.

You can find it both ways historically, but you're right, the other way is more common.

ah, well, a and b is reversed in the Kylver-stone, and on some stones it's written mirrored every second sentence...where do you find only eihwaz mirrored?

I hate being wrong, but I am. Sorta. You made me look again, and on well known historical stones you don't find it mirrored. I have this mistaken with Sowilo, which is mirrored on the Charnay fibula. With a little bend and twist does look like Eiwaz. You do find it mirrored in more modern things, which obviously means they and I are mistaken. The actual runes I made and use don't have this wrong, so I don't know why I did this. Thanks for pointing it out. I will have to fix it.
