Yeah, another ongoing-ish comic staring Kayla, commissioned by her creator Lulshi. The first four pages are up on Patreon right now if you wanna swing in there and get a look.
Fans of Blue Blood Heroes will recognize a few faces; Jake and Aunt Vespi are major characters in this comic, and will play into it. Younger versions of them; Blue Blood Heroes is set in the vague future, while this comic takes place in the vague present..... Jake here has probably just gotten out of the army. It's been neat having an outlet to draw Jake given he's currently in prison for the Blues arc....
Gah. Either way, this will be about Kayla learning to use magic and fit into her life. Hoping folks will enjoy. ^^

Martin's Comments: I more and more wish we'd never put a strict date on when WaR and Blues take place, or that it'd been much further off. Eh, we've already established it as an alternate timeline as it is, no harm no foul I guess. ... Though will probably make a point of never actually mentioning what year it is again in the comics.
Either way, yeah, this has been pending to submit for awhile now, today felt like a good time because we just put the fourth page of this storyline up on Patreon today. We've been pretty slow on producing pages what with everything else that has been going on, but we're catching up on how much the hurricanes and stuff set us back so we'll probably return to working on Kayla stuff soon.
