Heheh... Yeah, simple picture here; this was part of a sheet and the blackboard was added on later, I think.... Negi has always been a weird character to get the lineart just right for, so there's a lot of "We could make this look better now" feeling seeing him again. Look at the Patreon account and tell me I'm wrong, eh?

I think this gag happened in the manga. Not this specifically, obviously, but they show that Negi is so short that he needs a footstool to use the blackboard. And I wanna say a boosterchair to see over his desk. ..... We might need to do something with the latter concept sometime.

Martin's Comments: Do think this is a good show of little things I think we could do a lot better now; besides the usual proportions concerns and the like also think could make both the wood texture and the chalk look a lot better if we were doing this now. Didn't really deem it worth polishing up before posting but still hope everyone likes it.

Eh, in either case. I remember this one being kind of weirdly improvised from my end; if memory serves I think we had the Negi picture sitting on its own for awhile then I did the background on it and from there Adam wrote the dialogue. ... We actually have a lot of stray heads of this style sitting around that we really should try and wrap up sometime soon. Been a little swamped with our comics lately.

Either way, really hope everyone enjoys this one. Negi's someone we really should draw more often. ... Funny enough we have another Negima-adjacent picture we've been meaning to submit for a bit that's been delayed by us wanting to polish it up so that might come soon.
