Edit: I resized the image and saved it differently, and it's now much closer to the original vibrance I saw through the lens!

Should I crop out the tree on the right, and the mountain peaks to the left?
Should I alter the contrast?

Because it is nearly square, I would square it totally
I always try to avoid mixed crops
I prefer 2:3 1:1 or 16:9
You could crop away the hills, I think, because they make me feel like: I want to see more of them and that makes me sad
But please don't get me wrong, just some idea, my opinion

I don't think the shot needs to be more vibrant..it looks great as is.
It's very soft, subtle and calming. Don't know if that's the feel you were going for, but I still think it's great. The silhouettes are fantastic!

I saw a little color in the sky, played with a few settings on the camera, then shot it, I wasn't really going for anything in particular, but it seems shooting in 'night' settings worked well!
