So I mentioned some time ago that I was distancing my original characters form my fan fictions in order to make them usable in my original works. This is one of those examples.

Some time ago, my plan was to reinvent Miracle as what the PAW Patrol universe referred to as a merpup. However, I’ve since cancelled my PAW Patrol fanfics in favor of creating an original IP, and the time has come to clean house. This is one of those redesigns that I did out of necessity because while PAW Patrol doesn’t own the idea of merdogs, the same cannot be said for the specific design (the fish tail).

The idea was to basically have her head be the only furred thing on her body in this form while having the color scheme basically be her land form in aquatic form while adding counter shading to her underside. Thus far, I’m pretty happy with the redesign, and I can’t wait to see her and her family in action.
