^^ I seemed to be a lot in the mood to draw this weekend ^and.... somehow I don't really know what to write bout this pic ;____;
I regained the fun in coloring with PC. um... it was always fun but not that much ^^
I have forgotten something really important in the pictures before: I have forgotten that drawing and art is something that should be done (from my point of view) without having clear structures...
um... What I wanna say is that the latest pics I drew (not this one and the "Naturally Unnatural" one) have all been made in a very preassigned way. I was always following the same steps (allthough I tried out new things) and I didn't leave myself the freedom to do something "else" then the steps ^^
I guess in this pic and in the pic before one can notice some changes
I hope... O.o;
now I wrote too much >.>;
Oh well ^^

probier es mal. Flächig colorieren und danach dunkle linien einfügen. da sieht man genau wo die hingehören. viel besser als ohne farbe XD

Wow, when I saw this picture I immediately felt that you tried something different this time. It seems that there is always a significant change in an artist's approach and execution of a picture when he/she just lets go of the strict "rules" that he/she has been following. I did that not too long ago, and so now I enjoy drawing a lot more. ^^
I can really see that you had fun and enjoyed drawing this picture a lot. The style is a bit different, the colours are really vibrant and lively, and the overall image just seems to be.. alive. Great work and I hope you keep getting better and better!

I like the coloring a lot in this one! The pearls are a nice cute addition and I like the hint of lighting you've added on the bird's tail feathers.
and the background, you always do such neat backgrounds X3

1. wie hast du es geschafft, 3 solcher bilder an EINEM VERDAMMTEN WOCHENENDE fertig zu kriegen *heul*
2. das bild ist wirklich "erfrischend anders"... ich glaube es liegt daran, dass du sonst zwar schatten usw. hast, aber nicht alles in das entsprechende licht getaucht ist..? vielleicht ist es bei diesem orange/roten licht auch einfach nur auffälliger .. ^^vvvv

1. ich hatte viel zeit, da ich krank war...und viiiiel lust zum Zeichnen
2. hm... ich habe schon auch bei anderen bildern auf schatten geachtet und auch aufs licht. (man kann leider nicht bei jedem Bild so krasse Lichtverhältnisse schaffen ;___; ) aber... ich habe viel zu sehr immer die gleichen Wege verfolgt. ich war viel zu versteift bei dem was ich gemacht habe und wie ich die schatten setzte.
