The thing to do to fix the hair color is maybe start with a light shade of yellow, and then slowly add a darker tone as you go. Not black though. Do not add black. But, on second thought, if you were to do the hair as yellow and then add a black wash where shading is necessary, you might get what you're looking for.
I think that your eyes are your style, so this is a pretty subjective thing, but they're really big. Maybe make them a bit smaller?
