Great pic.... been looking at it for a while now.. cannot decide why I like it though... just an indescribable feeling I suppose.. ย the model and pose seem in constant conflict... her expression is one of vulnerability but she is corded like steel wire and definitely not.. ย soft and yet thin with bones clearly visible... obviously feminine yet ripped in a masculine way... ย Could just be talking crap... fascinating how I can't seem to decide why I like it....

You're not talking crap at all. Pretty much summed it up really. Art is all about that indescribable feeling that makes us ask questions.

Yikes!ย It just looks like being that thin hurts.ย Is this some form of malnutrition?

low body fat and nicely defined muscles are a sign of a clean diet and exercise, not malnutrition. people are so used to the fat acceptance and ''fat is beautiful'' that as soon as they see definition on a normal body they yell 'yikes'.

No. That's anorexia/bulimia and there is nothing healthy about an eating disorder. ย

Do you know what anorexia is? It's a mental disorder including self-harm, obsession with food, refusing to eat, not being able to eat, starving yourself, and you're good to go and be diagnosed if you've lost 60% of your previous body mass. The end result is terrifying malnutrition. This person is thin and has an amazing muscle definition, and as someone who knows what an anorexic person actually looks like, this is not it. When you starve yourself so long, your own body starts ''eating'' your muscle mass. You don't have to know a lot about anorexia, but knowing at least something is enough to take one look at this picture and know that this person is NOT anorexic. take a look at her face. normal and healthy.
Bulimia, binging and purging. You just happen to know that this person throws up after they eat?
Please educate yourself more on some subjects if you mean to talk about them. There is nothing but prejudice and ignorance in what you've written. I am not as slender as her but if i stood in front of a mirror in a similar pose and with dramatic lighting, even my ribs would show on my chest.

What do you save? Arrow heads?ย Dollies?
I save lives. I'm an Emergency Room Nurse.
You are like those fat, old, degenerates posting pictures of their junk hoping to lure children into engaging them in their deluded fantasies.
Your misunderstanding of the disease process is only exceeded by your arrogance as a pretentious know it all that actually doesn't know up from down.

Speaking of presumptive arrogance, you're not welcome here. And you're not a terribly well-trained nurse. And you're blocked.ย

unfortunately being an emergency nurse doesn't prove anything. my own doctor (yeah, a doctor not a nurse) admitted not knowing enough about the disorder to be able to properly help me because it requires an attention of a specialist (psychiatry, endocrinology, etc) who really know most about it. This person is slender, not anorexic, so it's truly a shame that a person who is in medicine knows so little about it and speaks from prejudice. You're a nurse but you saw a picture of a skinny person and yelled ''yikes'', so much about arrogance, pretentiousness and not knowing up from down. I'm not even going to comment on that part about fat degenerates because I don't know where to start or what it even meant. Anyways, bye.
